Absolutely not. Getting a quote from us involves no credit check whatsoever. Only when you decide to proceed with a new contract will a credit check be carried out — and we'll tell you exactly when that happens.
Yes, in many cases. Some networks allow early upgrades — sometimes at a small fee, sometimes for free. We'll check your specific account situation and tell you exactly what your options are and what (if anything) it would cost.
Switching is straightforward and we handle all the admin. You'll need a PAC code from your current network (they must provide it within one working day of asking). We walk you through requesting it and transferring your number, which typically completes within one working day.
Once you've chosen your new deal, most upgrades are processed within 24–48 hours, with your new handset arriving in 1–3 working days. Staying on your current network is usually faster than switching, but both are quicker than you might expect.
That's entirely up to you. You can keep it as a spare, sell it, trade it in through your new network, or recycle it. We can advise you on the best trade-in options at the time of your upgrade if you'd like to put its value towards your new deal.
